"Flower" means, in Japan, cherry blossom.
Not only does it tell the start of a year, but also
it tells the biginning of our "vie".
Now, the sign pistol shouts. But,
there is no rules for the flowers. Some start
too fast, some take their time and some start to
dance. Oh my, it's just like us.
We are not taking part in a short distance
running race. Seeing a falling petal,
why don't we drink and take a nap for a while.

花は、日本なら、桜。
やまと心の姿。そして僕ら自身の形。
その開花は1年の出発点。僕らの"ヴィ"のスタート合図。
いま、目覚めを告げる空砲のピストルが鳴る。でも、
桜たちにルールはない。フライングする者、
もたもたする者、踊りだす者までいる始末。
やれやれ、まるで僕らのようだ。
僕らは短距離走に参加する者ではない。
よろめきながら落ちる1枚の花びらを前に、
どうして杯をかざし、うたた寝せずにいられようか。
